Steak Paraiso is a premier steakhouse tucked away on SM Bypass Road in Cagayan De Oro City, Philippines—truly a carnivore's dream come true. Specializing in authentically prepared, high-quality steaks, this hidden gem showcases an impressive variety of prime cuts that boast rich, succulent flavors and impeccable tenderness.
From the very first bite of their celebrated filet mignon, you are enveloped in a melt-in-your-mouth experience that has repeatedly earned rave reviews from diners like Matt Mitchell, who ranked it among the top three steaks he’s ever had in the Philippines. Their diverse menu doesn’t stop at steaks; it includes ribs, briskets, and a handful of pasta selections, catering wonderfully to those who appreciate smoky, savory meats as well as those longing for a comforting carb option.
Dining at Steak Paraiso is an intimate and robust experience, perfect for a casual night out or a special dinner date, as praised by Aegel Torralba. The atmosphere pulses with lively energy, though some patrons have noted the acoustics can amplify the buzz in busier moments—a tradeoff that speaks to its vibrant clientele and warm ambiance. The service remains consistently attentive and professional, with staff like Grethyl receiving special mention for enhancing the overall experience.
While the location is somewhat tucked away—hidden behind a red gate and off the main road—patrons committed to the pursuit of exceptional steak won’t be disappointed. Multiple reviews highlight the challenge of finding the restaurant due to limited signage and inaccurate Google Maps pinpointing, but the culinary rewards more than justify the effort.
Steak Paraiso's focus on quality is clear through every dish. Paula Marie M Llido eloquently described the steak as “exceptionally rich and flavorful,” with meat so tender it simply dissolves on your palate. Whether you're savoring a classic ribeye, indulging in smoked brisket, or exploring their roast offerings, each plate is a testament to the kitchen’s dedication to premium ingredients and expert preparation.
True to its name, Steak Paraiso is a sanctuary where meat lovers can escape to enjoy expertly cooked steaks in an environment that balances lively energy with sincere hospitality. First time eating here, and one of the top 3 best steaks I've had here in the PH. The filet mignon was awesome. The service was very good and will definitely return.

the food was good, one of the best in cdo when it comes to steaks. its just so hard to locate the place 1. google map is not accurate 2. no signages along the main road since on the secondary 3. the restaurants signage in front in not that eye-friendly since it was small and the letters were very thin for the bypassers to read especially if you have tints on.

The acoustics are terrible so that the music and the sound of other (lively) parties can be quite disturbing. It's heavy on the meat, light on the veggies..but it is a steak house. The food is excellent quality but very pricey. I saw a party with bottles of wine but was not offered a wine list. Sweet red wine 'in can' was on the menu...no thanks Service was very good.

This has to be the best steak I've ever eaten in a restaurant. 10 out of 10. Would highly recommend. My server Grethyl was so amazing. Ask for her.

The food is great especially the meat. The steak is exceptionally rich and flavorful as it melts in your mouth. The roast is also great and very savory. Overall, I recommend this place and would love to visit again.

It was our second time eating here. Their Google Maps location is not accurate but if you’re coming from Bulua just make a left turn going to Case de Canitoan then make a right. The place is the house with the red gate. If you’re a meatlover, then this place is your paradise. They have a wide selection of steaks to ribs to briskets and other smoked meats. They also have a couple of pasta options if you’re looking for something lighter. We ordered a smoked platter, kitayama striploin, and their shrimp aglio olio this time. The steak is on point, the smoked meats platter were all tender and melt-in-the-mouth, the pasta dish was flavorful and had the right amount of spice to give you a jolt of energy. Overall 9/10. Will definitely come back.
